Cub Scouts

Must:

  • Born on or after 31st March 1997. (i.e. not had your 11th birthday before the start of Cuboree)
  • No extension to this age limit is allowed.
  • Must be a registered and invested Cub Scout.
  • Hold the Victorian Camp Out Badge.The requirements of this badge include attending two sleep-overs and a pack holiday camping under canvas of two consecutive nights duration.
  • Be considered suitable by their parents/guardians and Cub Scout Leaders

Venturer Scouts

Must:

  • Will be accepted to assist in Activity or Service Leader roles by the Cuboree Council on approval from the State Branch Venturer Council.
  • Must be a registered Venturer Scout.


Rovers

Must:

  • Must be a registered Rover and hold a valid “Working With Children Card” and Police Clearance.
 
Leaders

Cub Scout Leaders
(manage the Cub Scouts and Six other Leaders in a Cuboree Pack).


Must:
  • Also known as the Pack Akela.
  • Must have vast experience in the Cub Scout section and
  • Hold a ‘Certificate of Adult Leadership’ and also
  • Hold ‘Camping under Canvas’ qualifications.
  • Ideally will have attended a previous Cuboree.
Cuboree Line Leaders
(manage a Six within a Cuboree Pack).

Must:

  • Have experience in the Cub Scout section and
  • Hold a ‘Certificate of Adult Leadership’.
Service / Activity Leaders

Must:

  • Hold a “Certificate of Adult Leadership”.
Other Adult Support Staff
  • Adult Supporters: May assist with activities whilst always under the supervision of a certificated (warranted) Leader.
  • Resource Personnel: Will work in service roles subject to special registration with the Scout Association.
    For Cuboree, approval has been given to allow the registration of Adult Support Special Activity (Cuboree).
    The cost will be $20.00 each.
    The duration of approval is for ONE MONTH from the start of the activity.
    After a month they will be made inactive.
    Must hold a valid Working With Children Card and Police Clearance.
